Knoxville (WVLT) - The first 911 call that reported the shooting of Russell Kocur has just been released.
The caller relayed information that Kocur sent to his dispatch center moments after being shot in the back at halls high school.
Caller: "One of our officers has just been shot."
911 Dispatcher: "Ok. We've got an officer down."
Caller: "He wasn't wearing a vest I know that.:
We'll play more of the tape, including the events leading up to the capture of the suspect, tonight at 5:30.
