Fort Campbell, KY. (AP) -- The Army reports two Fort Campbell soldiers have been killed in Iraq.
A report released Monday says 40-year-old Lieutenant Colonel Paul Finken, of Mason City, Iowa and 28-year-old Staff Sergeant Joseph Gage of Modesto, California died Thursday in Baghdad. Their deaths were caused by injuries suffered when a roadside bomb exploded near their vehicle.
Both were assigned to the First Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, Fourth Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division.
