Knoxville (WVLT) - Knoxville Police are investigating the sixth shooting in Knox County since early Saturday morning.
It happened just after five Monday night in the 800 block of Townview Drive off of Summit Hill.
Authorities say 19-year-old Anthony Dewayne Brabson was shot in the shoulder in a courtyard at Townview Towers, then walked to a nearby school.
There, school officials called 911. Brabson was taken an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The suspect is known to Brabson only as "Keith." Keith is a black male, 5'10", 150 lbs with braided hair and a beard. Brabson is not sure of Keith's age.
The shooting takes place only a few hundred yards from the scene of an apparent drive-by shooting. In that shooting a 15-year-old girl was shot in the chest and a 17-year-old male was grazed by the gunfire.
Brabson gave no motive for the shooting, but he did tell police he's been in altercations with Keith before.
If you have any information on this shooting, you're asked to call KPD at 215-7212.
