Four Men Hold Woman at Gunpoint, Ransack Home

Updated: Tue 6:37 AM, Nov 14, 2006

(WVLT) - Knoxville Police are looking for four men they say went into a woman's home late last night and held her at gunpoint. KPD officers say a man knocked on the door of a home on Laurel Avenue just before midnight and said he was looking for someone who lived there. A woman who answered the door let him in. Police say the first man let three other men in the home and one of them pulled a gun. They ordered the woman to the floor and began ransacking the house. The woman was able to escape and call for help. She was not hurt. By the time police arrived, the suspects had already left the home. Police are still investigating what, if anything, the men took from the home.
