Knoxville (WVLT) A Knox County man has been indicted on charges of first degree murder and felony murder in connection with the death of a man found behind a Powell Walgreens store earlier this month.
Police allege 19 year old Kane Stackhouse killed 53 year old David Lindsey in the early morning hours of November 11th.
Lindsey worked as a truck driver for Walgreens.
A grand jury will also consider a charge of attempted aggravated robbery in connection with the attempted robbery of Knox County Commissioner Greg Lambert.
Lambert told Knox County Sheriff's Deputies that Stackhouse allegedly tried to rob him at gunpoint also on November 11th.
Police allege Lambert foiled that robbery by pulling his own gun on Stackhouse.
