Grand Jury Indicts Man in 2003 Wrong Way Driving Case

Knoxville (WVLT) - A Knox County grand jury has indicted a man on vehicular homicide charges and leaving the scene of a crash.

Investigators say Jacob Joseph Drumheller, who was 19 at the time of the 2003 crash, drove his pickup truck the wrong way onto I-275 northbound on December 5, 2003.

A tractor trailer hit Drumheller's pickup, jackknifed, then went off the I-275 bridge and landed on I-40.

The semi-truck driver, Thomas Allen Brown, was killed.
