Knoxville (WVLT) - It's an exciting day for the Vols after they learn they are headed to Florida for their bowl game.
They will be taking on Penn State at 11:00 a.m. On January first at the Outback Bowl. ESPN has that broadcast.
Going, going...soon they'll be gone.
With only 13,000 tickets available for the outback bowl, you'll have to buy them fast.
"They have very limited number of tickets remaining for the game, I think less than 2500 on Ticketmaster available and the fact that we'd already sold 7,000 as of Friday morning," says UT Athletic Director Mike Hamilton.
Tickets available on outbackbowl.com run 60 dollars each.
So now, how are you going to get there?
World Travel has two different packages to get you to the Outback Bowl.
"You're with other fans, you're with other alumni on this trip, it's hosted, you've got a host with you to help you find places to eat, things to do," says Sandy Hampton from World Travel.
With the land package, you make the 12 hour drive yourself; it runs about $540 per person for a double occupancy.
Or for $1,030 you can take a charter flight to Tampa.
"This is charter air so this means its non stop flights, it's on Allegiant Air," says Hampton.
Both are three night packages including a room at the Renaissance Tampa Hotel, buffet breakfasts, round trip transportation to and from the game, and a Pregame Alumni Tailgate Party.
"You've got all the shopping available, you've got a lot of restaurants available and, so there's a lot of things for people to do," Hampton says.
Tickets will go fast, but there will be lots of orange on game day.
"Our fans will find a way to be there, and we certainly think they'll snap up, to get to the bowl, and they'll find other ways to be there as well," Hamilton says.
World Travel opens at 8:30 Monday morning, and they say packages usually sell very quickly. There are only 150 seats on the flight and only a few more hotel rooms that that.
