London, Laurel County (WVLT) - A seven-year-old Kentucky boy is killed in a train crash in Laurel County.
Kentucky State Police say last night at about 9:30, a van, driven by 44-year-old Mary Smith of London, Kentucky crossed the railroad tracks in the path of a train.
The child was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The other young passengers were taken to UK Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
