Nashville (AP) -- State regulators say customers who receive phone service from Nustar Communications need to find a new provider.
Frontier Communications of Bluefield, West Virginia, will terminate phone service to Nustar, whose last known address was Nashville. Nustar buys local phone service from Frontier and resells it to customers across Tennessee. Frontier says Nustar has not paid its balance.
The Tennessee Regulatory Authority says it's been unable to reach Nustar to resolve the problem.
Customers affected reside in the vicinity of Crossville, Cookeville, Monterey, Algood, Palmersville, Powell, Claxton, Dresden, Sharon and Martin.
