Weather Alert: Strong to severe storms are expected tonight

Liquor stores are always closed on Sundays under Tennessee law , and this year it happens to fall on New Year's Eve, when many rush out just before their parties to pick up something to drink.
Most liquor stores around Knoxville close at ten or eleven o'clock Saturday night.
