choto road axKnoxville (WVLT) - A Knoxville woman has died from injuries sustained in an accident Monday evening at Northshore and Choto Road.
The Knox County Sheriff's Department says it happened just after six o'clock.
Investigators say 35-year-old Kimberly Standifer was speeding going into a curve, lost control, left the roadway and hit a tree.
She was taken by LifeStar to UT Medical Center.
A friend of Standifer's tells WVLT she leaves behind a five year old daughter.
The investigation continues.
