Weather Alert: Strong to severe storms are expected tonight
Knoxville (WVLT) - An early morning fire is forcing Sea Ray Boats to delay its production by about half a day.
Rural/Metro says the fire started about 2:40 a.m. Monday morning in a piece of manufacturing equipment at Sea Ray Boats in the Forks of the River Industrial Park in Knox County.
Rural Metro credits automatic sprinkler systems for preventing the fire from being worse.
No one was injured and the re is no word on what caused the fire.
