Driver Takes Plea Deal for Driving School Bus Drunk

Knoxville (WVLT) - A former school bus driver, charged with DUI, has accepted the terms of a plea agreement.

As part of the deal, Jennifer Reddy will spend the next year behind bars, but her attorney says she will be eligible for early release for good behavior.

Reddy also has to pay a fine, plus court costs. Her license has also been revoked for a year.

Last April, Jennifer Reddy was driving a Knox County School bus that sideswiped a parked car.

The bus was full of students at the time, none were injured.

Investigators say Reddy's breathalyzer test results were three times the legal limit.
