Crimetracker: KPD: Woman shot boyfriend in face with BB gun

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A 52 year-old Knoxville woman was arrested early Wednesday for allegedly shooting her boyfriend in the face with a BB gun, according to the Knoxville Police Dept.

Kim Clarke was charged with Aggravated Assault. Her boyfriend, 44 year-old Jim Bowden was uncooperative and refused treatment, police added.

Officers were called to the home on Fairmont Blvd. around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on reports of a possible shooting. Officers said they initially received several accounts of what happened. Investigators were later able to determine that Clarke had shot Bowden with the BB gun.
