Knoxville (WVLT) - Attorneys for Michael's Restaurant and Bar will attempt to get their beer license back tonight.
The City Recorder's Office says attorneys have told her that the hearing could last several hours.
It begins at 6:00 p.m., but will break for the City Council Meeting at 7:00 p.m., and will resume after the meeting.
Right before the New Year, the Knox County Beer Board suspended Michael's beer permit, after police reportedly asked for an emergency ruling.
The bar has since lost its liquor license, and closed its doors, temporarily.
We're continuing to follow this developing story and will bring you an update on tonight's court proceedings, on Volunteer TV News at 11:00.
