Knoxville (WVLT) - Four men now face a federal indictment in connection with the murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.

A federal grand jury issued a seven count indictment late Wednesday afternoon. In it, new information about the charges all four men face.

Indicted on the carjacking charge, two brothers, Lemaricus Davidson and his half brother, Letalvis Cobbins.

Both brothers also face a charge of using a gun during the carjacking.

Davidson faces two counts of being a felon in possession of a gun, Cobbins faces one count.

Both men could face death if convicted of carjacking because Christian and Newsom were murdered during or after the carjacking.

Also indicted, on accessory charges for allegedly helping the brothers escape capture, Eric Boyd and George Thomas.

Cobbins and Thomas waived an appearance in court Wednesday in Louisville, both men are in the custody of the us marshals and could be back in East Tennessee soon.

Davidson and Boyd are due in federal court in Knoxville Thursday for an initial appearance.

Volunteer TV will be in court Thursday when both men appear, and we'll have live coverage, beginning at noon on Volunteer TV News.
