Knoxville (WVLT) - A man injured in an early morning shooting remains in critical condition.
KPD says a cab driven by 55-year-old John F. Cooper was called to the 1700 block of Mississippi Avenue just after 3:00 a.m. Monday.
Cooper says he became involved in an argument with two women.
Cooper was shot in the lower back, drove to Western Avenue and called 911.
He was later taken to UT Medical Center.
KPD says they continue to follow up on leads.
