Chattanooga firefighters are mourning the loss of one of their own.
24-year-old Shane Daughetee among several firefighters from the Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department who responded to a house fire late last night in northern Hamilton County.
Authorities say Daughetee apparently went through a floor, while battling the blaze.
The family who lived in the home escaped without injury.
The home was destroyed.
