Knoxville (AP) -- TVA has set another record for winter power demand.
The federal utility says demand reached 30,336 megawatts Wednesday.
That occurred at 8 o'clock eastern time. At the time, the average temperature across the Tennessee Valley was 15 degrees.
This surpassed a record set only a few weeks before on December 8.
TVA says the record could be broken again next week if current forecasts prove accurate.
