Kingston, Roane County (WVLT) - A judge has ordered two men accused of killing a Roane County Sheriff's Deputy and his ride along friend to undergo another mental evaluation.
A judge instructed 45-year-old Rocky Houston and 47-year-old Clifford Leon Houston to enter a Middle Tennessee mental health facility for 30 days.
Also Monday, the DA in the case was recused, after filing a motion of conflict of interest.
Gus Radford, a retired DA from Carroll County will take over. Lawyers say the court will hear motions on March 20th.
