Knoxville (WVLT) -- The Knoxville Police Department has arrested a man for homicide related to a shooting last month.

William "BooBoo" Blake Jr. was taken into custody without incident overnight at a house on McDonald Road in East Knoxville. Officers found Blake hiding in a bedroom at the home after the Criminal Investigation Division received a tip about his wear-a-bouts.

Blake is believed to have shot 25 year old Nicholas Gillis after a fight inside an apartment on Texas Avenue on January 31.

A Grand Jury has indicted Blake for first degree murder, and his bond has been set at $1 million.
