Maryville, Blount County (WVLT) - A man accused of murdering his wife more than three years ago now knows when he will stand trial.
Today, a judge in Blount County set a trial date for Stanley Hill.
It will begin on August 7th, with pre-trial motions set to be heard on July 26th.
Hill did not appear in court, but his family, along with the victim's family was present.
Authorities in California caught up with hill last July, after he had skipped out on his first trial.
He was later extradited back to Tennessee.
