Oak Ridge May Soon Get a Super Target

Oak Ridge (WVLT) - A big retailer could be making its way to Oak Ridge soon.

The Oak Ridge City Council approved the first step to making a Super Target in Oak Ridge a reality.

There was a large turnout at the council meeting to hear Monday night's vote.

Council members listened to citizens who were both for and against the Super Target.

The development project would cost $65 million. It would sit atop Pine Ridge Mountain off Illinois Avenue.
