Blount County (WVLT) - An accident Thursday morning killed one man and shut down a busy road for over two hours.

The accident happened at about 6:30 this morning on Southbound Alcoa Highway at North Wright Road.

It involved a motorcycle and a car and forced emergency crews to shut down one side of Alcoa Highway.
