6 displaced after house fire in South Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Three adults and three children are looking for a place to stay after their house caught fire.

It happened around 2:45 AM Tuesday on Woodlawn Pike.

The Knoxville Fire Department says neighbors called 911 to report the flames.

All members of the family safely escaped before firefighters arrived.

Investigators haven't said what caused the blaze.

The American Red Cross will assist the family with their needs.
