I've known brock for many years now and never have I ever tought that this would happen to him.. I believe that brock is innocent untill proven guilty and evreyone is acting like he's already charged expecially the news.. is this not the united states of america??? is it not correct that everyone is innocent un till proven other wise.. I do believe this happened because of soemthing someone sent to him.. why is he getting all the blame and suffering over it why shouldn't the other person suffer too and face the consequences of their actions also... and not let just the other person be guilty when they sent whatever in the first place they were not made to and there is no reason for this to be blown out of perportion.... so Brock Rains is innocent untill proven otherwise and I don't believe he will be charged as guilty because this is all bull and the truth will come out no matter what! Peace!

From what I understand the charges that Brock is currently facing has nothing to do with anything found on Brocks computer. It was all over a picture that was sent to his cell phone by someone else. For anyone that has a cellphone knows that you cant control what anyone sends to your phone. I think the person that sent the picture should have to deal with the consequences just as much as Brock is having to face them. I have known Brock for a long time and I know theres no way he could have done any of these things. He is a loving father and a hard working. He has been a cop for 8 years, part-time EMT with the Fentress and Pickett Co. ambulance service because of his love for helping people. Anyone that has ever come in contact with Brock knows that he is always professional and goes out of his way to help anyone he can and look at how hes repaid. But the false reports to the media has already ruined this good man.

Once this trial is over, I hope this website updates with the correct facts and the outcome. Channel 8 was sure quick to air this part of the story, I just can't wait to see if the outcome is aired when Brock's name is cleared. Just put yourself in his position and think how you would feel if you were seen as guilty before you had your day in court. Anyone who knows Brock knows this has been blown completely out of proportion. He is a kind, generous and loving friend and father.

This is so wrong. I have known Brock since elementary school. He would have never done something so sic. People need to get their facts straight before they report something. He has always been an excellent deputy, both county and city.

Mr. Rains has yet to return to work, it seems he has been convicted before his day in court...

What ever happened to this case, I heard that deputy Rains had returned to duty on midnight shift I guess to keep him out of Public eye.
