Knoxville (WVLT) - After another minor setback, demolition and removal of wreckage at the McClung Warehouses is continuing.
Crews began the work at sunrise, but had to stop because of a technicality.
Apparently a letter from TDEC authorizing the work continuance wasn't entered into a computer.
So after a few hours of delay, work is set to get underway any minute.
Last week TDEC ruled there were high levels of lead in the wreckage, and said it must be taken to a specialized landfill.
Fire investigators hope to get into the building again to continue their search for a cause.
