Maryville Man Arrested In Connection With Weekend Burglary

Maryville (WVLT) - The Blount County Sheriff's Department has charged a second man in connection with a burglary on Grove Street over the weekend.

Deputies say one of the burglary victims stabbed 25-year-old James Dean Harley Holmes of Maryville during the incident Saturday night.

He was released from UT Medical Center on Monday and taken to the Blount County Detention Center. He's charged with especially aggravated burglary.

Another suspected, 25-year-old Jeremiah Lumpkin, is also charged with especially aggravated burglary.
