Child Found at Working Meth Lab

Sevier County (WVLT) - Sevier County authorities say they found a six year old child inside a rental cabin where they dismantled a working meth lab.

Authorities say a patrolman answering a call in that area noticed signs of a meth lab and called for a meth lab response team.

Authorities arrested 29-year-old Jerry Shane Webster of Sevierville and 23-year-old Tara Alisha Rose of Knoxville.

A six year old child they found in the cabin is now in the Department of Children's Services custody.

Webster and Rose are facing child abuse and neglect charges, along with other meth related charges.
