Two Missing Sevier County Children Found

(WVLT) - Two children missing from Sevier County have been located.

Last week, the Sevier County Sheriff's Department issued and endangered children alert for four children believed to be with their mother, who does not have custody.

Authorities now say 7 year-old Catelynn and 12 year-old Carolann Burris have been returned by their mother, Sandy Burris.

They say Sandy Burris came to the Sevier County jail along with the children.

Officers arrested her and put the children in custody of the Department of Child Services.

Authorities are still looking for the other two Burris children, 15 year-old Jimi Ray and 16 year-old Casandra.

They are believed to be traveling with 19 year-old Christina Muse.

Muse may be driving a 1997 Red Kia Sephia with the Tennessee Plate 765-GRN.

If you have any information on this case, call the Sevier County Sheriff's Department at (865) 453-4668.
