Fire at the Alcoa Plant

Alcoa, Blount County (WVLT) - Firefighters have a fire at the Alcoa plant in Blount County under control.

It started around 2:30 p.m. inside the fume-exhaust area of the baking area.

Workers were evacuated and no one was injured.

At this point plant officials are evaluating how this will effect future shifts.
