Rochester, MN (AP) -- A Morristown man survived in his crashed pickup in Minnesota for 36 hours thanks to a couple bottles of orange juice and a box of cookies.
A sheriff's deputy found 47-year-old Steven Cox on Monday afternoon inside his totaled truck at the foot of an embankment. The deputy says Cox was very calm and so interested in talking he had a hard time getting Cox to answer his questions.
Cox told the deputy he fell asleep at the wheel around 3:00 a.m. Sunday. His truck apparently hit a bridge abutment, went down an embankment and pinned against some trees.
Cox wasn't hurt in the crash but couldn't get out of either door.
