Edwards Denies Report, Campaign Goes On

Chapel Hill, NC (AP) -- Elizabeth Edwards' cancer has returned, but former North Carolina Senator John Edwards says he will continue his campaign for the Democratic Presidential Nomination.

Edwards says he's not suspending his campaign for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. He says, "the campaign goes on, the campaign goes on strongly."

Elizabeth Edwards discovered at the end of the 2004 campaign that she had breast cancer. She underwent surgery, radiation and chemotherapy.

Her husband says the cancer discovered this week is largely confined to bones. He says the cancer is "no longer curable," but that it's "treatable."
