(WVLT) - At least one person is dead after a car accident in Monroe County.
Dispatchers tell us a car was found in some water off Highway 165 in Tellico, just past a restaurant called "Bistro By the River" at about 3:40am this morning.
There were two people in the vehicle and they may have been trapped for several hours.
We do not know the condition of the second victim.
