Morristown (WVLT) -- Morristown Police are trying to find out if natural causes or foul play are behind the death of a man whose body was discovered late this afternoon.
A boy found the body while mowing a lawn in the 700 block of West Second North Street. At just after 4 p.m., 9-1-1 received the call and dispatched police, an ambulance crew, and the Hamblen County Coroner for the report of an unconscious African-American man.
Police have released very few details and the investigation has only just begun.
"The death at this time is suspicious in nature so we are doing a continued investigation," said Officer Ricky Sanders from the Morristown Police Department. "The identity of the male is unknown at this time and we are still working on discovering what happened."
