Claiborne SoldierNorris Lake (WVLT) - Monday, friends and family of a local soldier said their final goodbyes.
The ashes of 25-year-old Staff Sergeant Terry Prater were scatted at Norris Lake earlier this afternoon.
Hundreds of people turned out to pay tribute to him at his funeral Sunday.
Prater leaves behind a wife and two sons.
Prater was killed during his third deployment to Iraq.
