Knoxville (WVLT) - The body of an East Knox County man missing for more than three months has been found.
Knox County Sheriff's deputies say 54-year-old Robert Tinsley has been missing since December 18th of last year.
At the time he went missing, police searched with helicopters and dogs for clues in the Strawberry Plains area, but nothing was found.
Tuesday, Tinsley's brother came to his property and was looking through some trash in the back of a pickup, when he discovered his body.
Officials have now taken Tinsley's body to UT, where they hope to determine a cause of death.
They aren't ruling out foul play as a cause for his death just yet.
