Knoxville (WVLT) - A man injured in an early morning shooting has been released from the hospital, but local authorities are still looking for the shooter.
The incident happened just after 4:45 a.m. at Club Temptation on McCalla Avenue.
That's where police say 41-year-old Willie Thomas was injured.
He was later taken to UT Medical Center where he was discharged Wednesday afternoon.
An employee told police a customer was angry for being charged twice at the door, when he was asked to leave, opened fire, shooting Thomas in the upper leg.
Police did recover what they believe was the weapon used.
They are looking for a black man who's believed to be driving a sky blue four door 1989 or 1990 Buick LeSabre or Century.
