Businesses Cited for Selling Beer to a Minor

(WVLT) - The Knoxville Police Department has cited nearly two dozen businesses for selling alcohol to a minor during undercover stings.

Officers conducted two separate "beer compliance checks" in the past few weeks.

They say out of 48 establishments, 21 of them were ticketed for selling alcohol to an underage police cadet.

The Knoxville Police Department say they will continue the stings around Knoxville in the coming months.
