Knoxville (WVLT) - A Knoxville man is now facing charges in connection with last week's shooting at an East Knoxville nightclub.
Authorities say 39-year-old Ronald Eugene elder is charged with aggravated assault, after allegedly shooting 41-year-old Willie Thomas, just outside the Underground on McCalla Avenue.
Officers say the shooting stemmed from an argument with the victim, who was treated and released for his injuries.
After the shooting, police say Elder got into a car and fled the scene.
