Knoxville (WVLT) - Three people are now behind bars, facing charges in connection with two overnight armed robberies.
Knoxville Police say around 3:10 a.m. Tuesday morning, they responded to the robbery of a man at the Big Oak apartment complex.
The victim told officers a black man, a white man and a white woman robbed him and fled the scene.
About 20 minutes later, officers responded to another robbery, this one at the Food Mart on Kingston Pike.
The description of the suspects matched the description of the suspects at the first robbery.
About 20 minutes later, officers spotted the suspects and took them into custody.
Twenty-year-old Prentis Hatmaker, 19-year-old Emily Anthony and 20-year-old Kenyon Prentice face two counts each of aggravated robbery.
