Knoxville (WVLT) -- Marion Stout, Tennessee's most senior volunteer, passed away Saturday afternoon at the age of 111.

Ms. Marion Stout was born just three decades after the end of the Civil War.

In her more than 11 decades on this earth she saw twenty different U.S. Presidents come and go from Grover Cleveland to George W. Bush.

She was among the 50 oldest people in the world, never drank or smoked and lived on her own up until seven years ago.

Ms. Stout's funeral will take place at 2 pm Tuesday afternoon at the Second Presbyterian Church on Kingston Pike in Knoxville.

She will be laid to rest during a private family ceremony at the Magnolia Cemetery in Maryville.
