Kingston, Roane County (WVLT) - Is immigration a crisis in Tennessee?
That was the topic of an immigration forum Monday night at Roane State Community College called "Nation of Nations".
Students, teachers, and community residents came together to talk not only about illegal immigration, but also how to show folks how they can help legal immigrants here in our country.
"Dialog is a good thing. We are trying to present some difficult issues for these folks so that hopefully students and community members can walk away with an increased level of knowledge, give them something to broaden their prospective," said Chris Whaley, Roane State's Dean of Social Behavioral Science.
About 75 people turned out for the annual forum Monday night.
