Contracts For Two School Administrators Will Not Be Renewed

Knoxville (WVLT) - We have an update to a story we told you about at the beginning of the school year.

A Knox County School spokesman tells us contracts for Powell High School's assistant principal Kim Kallenberg and principal Diane Psihogios were not renewed.

They've been on administrative leave from Powell High School since last July. Kallenberg remains under under investigation for alleged grade fixing. She has denied involvement.

Psihogios was placed on leave for what the school system described as being related to the academic and administrative atmosphere of the building.

Both are still able to apply or re-apply for any job in the school system.
