KNOXVILLE (WVLT) -- Police have released the names of two men arrested Saturday afternoon at Holston River Park.

Mark Bivens of Loudon County and Michael John Parker of Knoxville now face a long list of charges including evading arrest and possession of illegal narcotics.

According to police, Parker will also face aggravated assault after he tried to run over an officer with his car.

That officer was forced to fire his gun at Parker, hitting his vehicle and preventing him from fleeing the scene.

No one was hurt while the two were taken into custody, but police say Bivens had to be tazed.
