Deadly Accidents

(WVLT) - The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating two deadly crashes.

In Union County, officers say they believe 33 year-old Ramon Ellison of Maynardville had been drinking when he went into oncoming traffic and hit another car head-on on Highway 33.

The driver of that car, 22 year-old Brandy McCarty of Sharps Chapel, died in the crash.

Two passengers in her vehicle, 17 year-old Candy McCarty and two month-old Andrew Walters, also of Sharps Chapel were both hurt.

We do not have information on their injuries.

Ellison was also hurt in the crash.

UT Medical Center says he has already been discharged from the hospital.

THP says he will face charges in the crash.

In Campbell County, Officers say 22 year-old Michael Terry of Pioneer was driving on State Route 63 when he lost control on the wet road and hit a tree.

Terry died in the crash.

Investigators say he was not wearing his seat belt.

The baby is brain dead... hopefully the drunk driver will pay for this. Maybe the baby could be an organ donor for other infants in need...

Its so sad when the DRUNK DRIVER gets released from the ER before the person he wrongfully killed even gets a funeral. DRUNK DRIVING NEEDS TO BE EVERYONES PRIORTY TO STOP NOT ONLY LAW ENFORCEMENT.
