Knoxville (WVLT) -- They are not ready to move in yet, but tonight, seven families have keys to a dream. That dream is to own their own brand new homes.

Last week we told you about Habitat for Humanity's seven-day blitz build.

On Saturday, Volunteer TV's Kim Bedford dropped in on the October Woods subdivision to see how it's changed one family's life forever.

LaKeese Davis is a single mother of three who has worked her neither life for other. Along with six other families, she is also on the verge of receiving a key to her own home.

Song, prayer, and Bibles prepare these families for the big step they are about to take.

"I'm going in my house now," LeKeese says out loud. "Hello kids, I'm home!"

The Davis home isn't quite ready for them yet, but LaKeese has it all planned out.

"This is my room," She says, "this is nice, brand new. This is their room and their closet."

They are a faithful family that is happy be moving in.

"Lord God, you have been so present this week," Mable Davis, LaKeese's mother said. "You have answered our prayers, Lord."

As they stand together to bless the new home, she looks misty eyed.

"I've been full of tears and joy all week," said Mable.

And the mother couldn't be more proud of her daughter.

"She's come a long way," Mable said, "She needed it, she needed a home. She needed a decent home."

Which is exactly what Habitat delivered to her family.

"I am overwhelmed," LaKeese said, "this is a new home for me and my kids. It's a better environment, and we're just so excited. I just can't wait to move in."

LaKeese will be settle in in about a month, and the first thing she says she'll do?

"Sit on my floor and cry," she says with a smile, "and thank God that I've got a new home."

Knoxville's Habitat for Humanity completed its 315th build with this blitz.
