Blount County (WVLT) - If you feel like you've been the victim of bullying or discrimination, it's getting a little easier for you to find help if you live in Blount County.
School leaders from the city and county schools were on hand Monday as officials announced a new student support line. Organizers say the new line will be for students to report their problems and then get information as to the proper procedure to get help from educators to law enforcement.
Officials say they hope the new avenue will encourage those who are too afraid to call.
"But I think if we give them another way to fix it, give them guidance and counseling to how to get it fixed, then I think it would be a positive step towards a better community," organizer Thomas Mares said.
