Knoxville (WVLT) - An East Tennessee man is now charged with three counts of attempted first degree murder and three Knoxville Police officers are thankful to be alive.
Investigators say the officers went to 32-year-old Arthur Reagan's house about 10:00 p.m. Sunday night to question him about threatening a neighbor with a gun.
While they were standing on the porch, officers say they heard two clicks, after arresting Reagan, officers found a sawed-off shotgun.
Police say Reagan admitted he tried to fire the weapon, but it misfired.
