Johnson City, Johnson County (WVLT) – A Tri-Cities girl at the center of an Endangered Child Alert has been found and the alert has been cancelled.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, 14-year-old Casey Marie Twigg was found safe in Statesville, North Carolina Thursday morning.
The CBS affiliate in the Tri-Cities, WJHL, reports Twigg called her mother from a Waffle House in Statesville.
Twigg's mother is on her way to North Carolina to pick up her daughter.
John Snow, the man Twigg was believed to be traveling with has not yet been located.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Department has activated an Endangered Child Alert for runaway juvenile Casey Marie Twigg.
Casey is a 14 year-old white female with brown hair and blue eyes. She is in 5'7" tall, unknown weight. She was last seen wearing black Capri pants, a black t-shirt or blue hoodie, ankle socks and white sneakers.
It is believed that Casey has left with John F. Snow a 43-year-old white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6'0" tall and weighs 183 lbs.
Snow was last seen driving a 1992 Chevy 2500 2WD 1/2 ton pick up with unknown Pennsylvania registration. The truck is white with a red stripe and was a former utility truck for Comcast Cable. The adhesive from the lettering can still be seen on the sides of the truck.
Casey and Snow may be en route to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Snow has a lengthy criminal history.
